My sculptural book for my Graphics ranking project.
I made this book out of shreaded paper, string, white feathers, peacock feathers, and beads. I had the stand made from wood and bamboo and painted it white. I decided I might be presented the best if it was stuck to the wall , so I continued to do that with the hot glue gun.
For my prototype of my sculptural book I used a bent metal bar, shreaded paper, beads, and feathers and string.

The photo of the lily and the butterfly i thought was very beautiful, it also suites my book cover as i did some research on perhaps what a lily or a butterfly might resembly, a lily resembles pride, innocence, purity and freedom. Which i thought was a perfact match to put accross the angels we are told about in my book 'The Whispering Angels' and the butterfly is an ancient greek symbol for the human soul, and in the book there is also alot of talk of our inner selfs, the human soul, the subconcious mind. This she believes we can only discover the meditation and inner peace.
The three photos in the sand in which I combined to make my second possible book cover was interesting i thought, as i found this beautiful pattern left in the sand from the sea. I used this pttern on the edge of the cover to give the impression that it was coming out from the book, I also darkened its colour a little bit to create more contrast and i thought that did really work, this cover had the footsteps on the beach which i thought created a very peaceful, angelic image.
my final book cover the one i chose to be my compleated book cover was a photo i had taken of the sun going down and I was standing not too far from the edge of a cliff so the sun was way out on the horrizon, however in the photo the sun looked very bright shining beams of light out from it, it was quite different, i turned the photo upside down to get rid of the sun going down feel of the photo and o proceed in giving it a more unatural angelic feel of more so a bright light instead of the sun, i thoght this one was very successful so i decided to ues it was my final book cover.
